Using Gr Isn’t A ‘Gr’eat Idea.

There are millions of GlideRecord API queries floating on the web on 1000s of customer instances that are being set as a ‘gr’ variable. For most parts, it works fine but as using ‘gr’ became more and more common, instances of unexpected behavior also started being more widespread. Other than the fact that it is a GlideRecord object variable, ‘gr’ does not tell you anything about the purpose of setting this variable. ServiceNow explains why here
